After announcing the project back in 2019, we’re happy to share that Lebanon’s incredible new 27,000m2 conservatory in Dbayeh is well underway. The China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) is spearheading operations as part of their #RenewRebuildRevive campaign to foster sustainable urban development in major cities around the world.
Spanning an impressive 27,000m2, the conservatory will become one of the region’s most highly anticipated cultural landmarks. It will also include a 1,200-seat concert hall and a state-of-the-art teaching facility. It will be the first music academy in the country with such a large concert hall.

The initiative aims to revive Lebanon’s music scene amid challenges posed by the country’s financial crisis.
The state-run national conservatory has been neglected over the years. Hopefully, this project will bring renewed focus and support for future generations of musicians and artists.
