15 Random Photos of Trucks around Lebanon that Just Make Sense

Remember when we curated a list of photos of Lebanese vans cruising around Lebanon? Now we found a bunch of noteworthy photos of trucks in Lebanon that we thought you needed to see – courtesy of @trucksofbeirut.

P.S. in case you didn’t know, a lot of artistry goes into painting these trucks. In fact, it wasn’t until the 1980s that this trend began. You can read more about it here.

1. “Ma7roose”

We need this on our cars too.

2. “Jamalik jamal”

Is this truck flirting with me?

3. Colors, eyes, and lots of animals

Honestly, they’re pretty aesthetic.

4. A visual representation of our mental state right now

Overworked but still pushing through <3

5. “3aroosa ma7rooset el-Jnoub”

In honor of 3a2belik season.

6. “Meeli 3abalek, abu 3osr khayalek”

Motivational quotes are ALWAYS in the details.

7. “Sheel 3yoonak”

We need to know the inspo for these yassified eyes.

8. Bad hair day

Gotta appreciate the older generation of trucks as well.

9. “Min do3a2 ommi, razakni rabbi”

Thanks mom <3 + motivational quote + random eye in the middle + ma7roose.

10. Lebanese trucks if they were in the 60s hippie era

All it’s missing is a cute peace sign.

11. Old truck and the chairs that literally everyone in Lebanon owns

Also “Kiss me” and “Mafi Wafa” written at the bottom are very Lebanese van-coded.

12. This one, just because it looks very aesthetic

Kinda makes us want to own a truck.

13. More eyes

They’ll be staring into your soul if you drive behind it…

14. This insane artwork

This has to be the coolest one. If Lebanese vans could fit this on their own rides, they would have done it too.

15. Driving in Lebanon in one picture

Maybe we never appreciate these cool trucks because this is how it’s like to drive with them:
