“Ta3 red 3al telephone badda t3aydak khaltak”

You’ll be hearing a lot of that as soon as you wake up on Eid day.

4. Sleeping in is NOT an option

You have to be up early and dressed in your finest Eid attire. Unless you want to deal with your Lebanese mom fo2 rasak mnel soboh, you better be up as soon as the sun rises.

5. Lots of family pictures…..yikes

There’s always that one family member who has to take a picture of everyone together, the kids hugging each other, the aunties, the maamoul platters, the food…literally EVERYTHING.

And if person is your mom…well…good luck, Charlie.

6. All your baby cousins care about is eidiye (which you became too old for like a decade ago)

Normalize giving adults eidiye, please and thank you.
