We’re Six Months into the Year, Let’s Plan the Rest of Your 2024

Yes, we’re officially halfway into 2024 and many of us still haven’t done anything fun or ticked anything off our bucket list. The one that we created instead of a lame New Year’s resolution. Anyway, we’re here to help you plan the rest of your 2024 with a few bucket list activities.

P.S. some of these bucket list items are seasonal while others can be done all year round!

1. Visit some of Lebanon’s quirkiest structures

2. Take a dive into Saida’s underwater garden this summer

Did you know Saida has an underwater garden? We can’t believe we only just discovered this. Summer lovers and adventurers will fall in love with this bucket list item.

3. Plan a trip to Lebanon’s coastal islands

For the ultimate summer adventure, we recommend visiting at least one of the coastal islands. There are three in Tripoli under the Palm Islands Nature Reserve, and one in Saida called Zireh Island!

4. Go on a hiking trip AT LEAST once

If you’re sighing at this suggestion, we understand. We’re not into hiking either, but some places in Lebanon are just too beautiful not to experience. If you need the extra motivation, we recommend a guided hike with Lebanon Outdoor Activities!

5. Experience Hammana’s cherry picking season

Arguably one of the most beautiful (and delicious) times during the year, and it’s best enjoyed with family and friends. If you’re planning a Hammana trip soon, we recommend you book a cherry picking sesh ASAP before the season ends.

6. Visit as many waterfalls as possible

7. Book a secluded escape at one of Lebanon’s most gorgeous getaways

Luckily for you, we’ve compiled some of the dreamiest luxury getaways that you can enjoy all year round. If you’re more of a mountain escape type of person, then you should check these out.

8. Snap a picture of you paragliding over Jounieh

Yes, everyone’s doing it. Everyone except you. You’re gonna have to have this experience at some point. An amazing view, one heck of an adrenaline rush, and you can go for lunch after to make yourself feel better for screaming your head off.

9. Paddle through the beautiful Bnachii lake

This is a wonderful idea for families or large friend groups! The Bnachii lake is quite big, and it’s filled with animal friends who will stop by your paddleboat to say hi. There’s also a Lebanese restaurant overlooking the lake, so you’ve also got lunch covered.

10. Dedicate an entire weekend to trying new outdoor activities

There are so many mountain retreats where you can try a number of outdoor activities, like camping, rappelling, tree climbing, zip lining, and horseback riding. Here are 7 of them.

11. Make sure you’ve ticked all these abandoned places off your bucket list

12. Enjoy a night out with friends in the heart of nature

13. Go for wine and views at some of Lebanon’s most beautiful wineries

Some wineries in Lebanon come with an exceptional dining experience, so if you’re looking to wine and dine with a view, you should consider these wineries in Lebanon.

Having a picnic every once in a while is must (according to science), so why not enjoy one with your significant other? Or maybe even a friend? We’ve got a few options for you right here.
