Fattoush on the List of Best Salads in the World!

After mtabbal, toum, and hummus took over the top three spots of world’s best dips and Lebanese shawarma was ranked 3rd best sandwich in the world, TasteAtlas just dropped yet another list ranking the best salads in the world. And we’re proud to find Lebanon is once again on their list. Fattoush landed in the #8 spot!

TasteAtlas, known for rating only the best local food from all over the world, knows where its at.

A simple recipe that packs a punch and graces the tables of almost every Lebanese family lunch. We’re so used to the staple dish that we often take it for granted. Made with lettuce, mint, cucumber, tomatoes, radish, bell pepper, onions, with a dressing made from olive oil, a squeeze of lemon, sumac, and debs remmen. All topped with crunchy fried bread.

And tabbouleh also made it to the list, ranking 23rd. Honestly, we’ll take it – but every Lebanese person knows these two dishes will always be #1 in our hearts.
