Video: Adorable Lebanese Teta Learns How To Drive At 82!

In case you needed a video to uplift your mood, this is it. An adorable Lebanese teta just learned how to drive and we couldn’t be happier.

Um Saeed had always dreamt of learning how to drive ever since saret sabiyye, but she couldn’t do that until recently. At 82, she fulfilled her dream, and now she goes cruising around her village in Yohmor to shop for groceries or have a sobhiye with her friends and family (she doesn’t have a license but it’s okay).

In the video by Beirut Sonder Stories, Um Saeed said that learning how to drive made her feel young again and that the happiness she felt fulfilling her dream was indescribable.

Her message to other women who don’t know how to drive: “My advice to every woman who hasn’t learned how to drive yet is to learn, even if she’s my age. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about.”

We hope to visit Yohmor soon so we can cruise around the village with Um Saeed. Send this to your friend who still doesn’t know how to drive to get them motivated!
