The professional K1 kickboxing and Muay Thai fighter Nassib Iyad Hmede emerged victorious in the Arabian Combat Sports league with a record of 10-0 wins and six knockouts. After his win against Senegal champion Mouhamed Tafsir, the Lebanese boxer accepted the championship belt while carrying both the Lebanese and Palestinian flags on his shoulders.
He not only claimed the coveted title belt but also carried the spirit of his homeland into the ring. Hmede’s triumph serves as a testament to the region’s strength and resilience amid worsening aggressions, honoring the people and martyrs of South Lebanon.
He says: “This victory is very nice and makes us happy, but we cannot be too happy. Today, at the time of this beautiful event, South Lebanon is being destroyed and is offering martyrs. We share our condolences to the families of the martyrs.”
