A few days ago, we posted this reel to our Instagram remembering Pinkberry and their tasty froyo. The franchise had closed at the onset of the economic crisis back in 2019.
But the great news is many people in the comments were kind enough to give us some LOCAL alternatives, so we’re going to be listing them here for everyone who is craving delicious froyo.
Happiness comes in spoonfuls at Happy Spoon! The colorful spot serves up the freshest frozen yogurt, and they have a great selection of flavors and toppings for you to choose from. During summers, they’re open at Sporting Club Beach, but you can also find them at LAU’s Lower Gate.
The local coffee shop became a go-to for many looking for a Starbucks alternative that was cheaper Starbucks alternative. Apart from coffee and delicious pastries, Stories also specializes in making frozen yogurt delights so you can relive those Pinkberry memories.
Froyo Heaven will quite literally feel like a piece of heaven on earth with their otherworldly decor. Their set up really puts you in the mood for a sweet froyo treat, and they also serve up bubble tea for when you’re in the mood for a pearly drink.
A pastry and coffee shop that also offers froyo with the yummiest selection of toppings. Donia is a great Pinkberry replacement that also offers many healthy options, and it’s safe to say that their fruit toppings are way better than Pinkberry’s.
And Cold Stone Creamery (not a local) that just dropped a new froyo ice cream with strawberry and blueberry toppings, so there’s not much leeway with the choice of toppings.
