Sushi lovers…or maybe meat lovers…? Anyway, whoever you are, you were intrigued by the title. There’s a spot in Kaslik that’s grilling up sushi 3a la7me, so we thought we’d put it on your radar.
The Grill Spot is a Lebanese grill in Kaslik’s Boulevard, serving up all your favorite grilled delights that will hit the G spot (it’s their slogan, please don’t come at us). A more street-style approach to Lebanese cuisine, their menu has a variety of options. It includes all your favorite sandwiches and their own version of Lebanese mezza.

Though we’re all for stopping by and enjoying a taouk sandwich, or some mixed grills with a side of their chili hommos. However, their sushi 3a la7me caught our attention.
Allow us to introduce you to the meat lover’s version of sushi. This spot makes their beef sushi roll with lamb, topped with a pesto and chili paste (their makeshift wasabi maybe?), and a sprinkle of crushed pistachios. This could be a good way to introduce sushi to your friend who refuses to try it…
Will the juicy lamb, spicy paste, and crunchy pistachio trick your mind into thinking you’re enjoying a crispy crazy salmon roll? Probably not, but it’s close enough.
Anyway, if you’re looking for other signature dishes to try, we think the G Experience is quite appetizing. At first glance, we thought it was a meat knefe. Maybe if you squint your eyes, tilt your head, and look in the opposite direction. It’s actually made from a meat disk, stuffed with melted cheese, mushroom, peppers, and pistachio.
Sushi 3a la7me, an (almost) la7me knefe…we’re getting dizzy. Meat lovers, let us know how you feel about this spot and if you’ve already try it, give us your honest ratings.
But we suppose if you prefer the real deal, check out the #Sushi section on our website. From open sushi offers around Lebanon to newly opened spots!
