7 Dreamy Sandwiches Every Lebanese Foodie Needs To Try

Looking for a dreamy bite to sink your teeth into? We’re not here to point you to some basic sandwiches. Instead, we looked for the most unique (and tasty) sandwiches we could find. Here are a few must-try sandwiches around Lebanon!

1. Shrimpy Bites from Cloudy Bites

The dreamiest, cloud-like sandwiches you’ll ever find, Cloudy Bites makes three specialty sandwiches in beef, chicken, and shrimp. Though all three deserve a spot on this list, we have our eyes on their Shrimpy Bites. Filled with juicy tempura shrimp, Rocca, radish, spring onions, onion pickles and T.N.T sauce for an extra kick.

But of course, you can enjoy their Cloudy Duo, where you can choose two out of three of their sandwiches to enjoy with their homemade chips and a soft drink.

2. Caramelized Beef Brioche from OPALE

Whoever decided to make this sweet combination, thank you. A sweet brioche bun goes with almost anything (in our humble opinion, we just really love brioche), so let’s add a beef patty, mozzarella, caramelized onion, pickled cucumber, turkey, lettuce, mayo mustard, and a side of sweet potatoes.

They also have a bunch of other brioche sandwiches for you to choose from, like their Lebanese sujuk, briochty chicken, and many mouthwatering options.

3. Chicken Bomb from Kitchen Garage

Another bomb sandwich with explosive flavor, Kitchen Garage has an underrated option on their menu that deserves all the hype. Their Chicken Bomb includes fried chicken and a secret sauce recipe, topped with Cheetos, barbecue, honey mustard, lettuce, and pickles – all wedged in a fresh submarine loaf.

An extra saucy sandwich that isn’t for the weakhearted. But honestly, nothing they serve is for the weakhearted. Not even their chicken wings.

4. Steak Frites from Baguette Bistro

Steak frites lovers, how about turning your favorite dish into a sandwich? This wonderful Mar Mikhael spot serves a juicy steak frites baguette, complete with the herbal sauce we all know and love. You can pair your order with local wine, too!

Redefining steak and wine nights in the yummiest way possible, Baguette Bistro can be a great not-so-casual night out with your friends in the city.

5. The Sando Tray from Firebird

Authentic Nashville chicken anyone? Fried until golden brown, their chicken is wedged into perfectly toasted bread and doused in sauce. To give your dining experience an extra kick, then make sure you turn up the heat. The best part about this spot is that you can choose your spice level!

Their tray comes with a side of crispy Firebird fries, coleslaw, pickles, and your choice of Mac n’ Cheese or Firebird pops. And if you want to dip your sandwich with some extra sauce, you better be wise with your choice of sauces.

6. The Honey Steak from Junkies

Sometimes going for dessert isn’t enough for someone with a sweet tooth, so let’s introduce you to the honey steak sandwich from Junkies. A golden sub sandwich filled with slices of premium steak and topped with pickles, crunchy chips, shredded iceberg, crispy onion, American and honey-mustard sauce – finished off with a drizzle of pure honey.

And if you prefer chicken over beef, rest assured that you can order their Honey Chicken which has succulent grilled chicken slices. Make sure you pre-game with their super combo if you’re really hungry.

7. The Sicilian from Phil & Will

Sandwich lovers need to tick this place off their bucket list. Though you’ll love most, if not all, the sandwiches at Phil & Will, the Sicilian is a must-try on your first visit. It’s made with salami, stracciatella, arugula, sundered tomato spread, pesto sauce, vinaigrette and balsamic glaze.

For their sides, you can go for a side of house chips, a giant pickle, or you can make it a meal and enjoy both with a soft drink.
