7 Things That Make An LAU Student Late For Class
3 out of 5 LAU students are always late to class (according to science), and we’re going to tell you exactly why that is. Here are 7 things that make an LAU student late for class.
1. Business building students
They walk so slow because they don’t have a class to go to (they’re skipping), so they make it everyone’s problem, especially if you’re trying to pass through Orme-Gray.
2. LAU cats
Did I get distracted by a kitten on my way to class? Yes. It was blocking my way, what else was I supposed to do? Simply step out of the way?
3. Coffee Van coffee runs
Well, its either coffee or you fall sleep in class…I guess being a bit late is okay though, so in retrospect, you’re doing your instructor a favor.
4. The Nicol Hall top floor class
The elevator that everyone wants to ride, and you must wait till it empties up and you can arrive late to your class instead of walking to the fifth floor. To be honest, it could be worse. Your class could be on the fourth floor which the elevator for some reason does not stop at, so you have to go down a flight of stairs after arriving.
5. The most common one: sleeping In
Could be from having a hard day at your part-time job or studying overnight or its just you stayed up messing around on your phone, and sometimes you do manage to get a good night’s sleep and STILL manage to be late.
6. School traffic…
Who decided that it was a good idea to have Collége Protestant, IC, and ACS all like 5 minutes away from each other? The Collège Protestant traffic blocks the middle and upper gate, and if you want to come from Hamra there’s the IC and ACS traffic.
7. Political Meetings
When there’s a big political meeting about to happen, the police start closing the roads early in the day. So, you can forget about arriving at that first morning class five minutes early and tbayed wej ma3 the instructor.
