Reactions To The Beirut Airport Hacking Incident

Yesterday, the Flight Info Display Systems at Beirut Airport got hit by hackers, causing political messages to be displayed on screens accompanied by a brief shutdown of the baggage handling system. This coincided with a flood of fake SMS messages from both MEA and the Internal Security Forces. Quite a chaotic scene.

Though attributed to “Jnoud el Rabb,” the group was quick to distance themselves from the incident.
