This past July, Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport underwent a major culinary face lift, with a wave of new restaurants opening to give travelers a much-needed refresher. Airport mainstays such as Cafe Matik and Balkoumi made way for news brands such as Dunkin’ and Zaatar w Zeit, and others – so we thought we’d show you how Dunkin’ is looking in its new home.
@beirut.com Dunkin' Donuts is now open at Rafic Hariri International Airport. Quick tip: bring an extra dose of dough because the prices have skyrocketed here🚀💸☕ #airporttax#dunkin#lebanon#beirut#fyp ♬ Paper Planes – M.I.A.
Bringing the signature Dunkin’ experience to the airport, with the aroma of freshly baked donuts and delectable coffee now filtering through the terminals. Showing us that “Lebanon flies on Dunkin,” they have brought a new and fresh vibe to the airport this summer.
Their menu is the same one you know and love from around the country, but with the guaranteed airport price hike. A donut at the airport goes for $2.80, compared to $1.75 outside it. Their coffee and other products are similarly more expensive inside terminal grounds.
From our first look at the airport Dunkin’, it looks like it an interesting new addition for travellers into and outside the country, after 18 years of Cafe Matik, it’s nice to see the familiar orange and pink of Dunkin’ light up the halls of the airport.
We’re glad that our next pre-flight donut craving can be adequately quenched at the airport. If you’ve made a stop at the new Dunkin’, let us know how your experience was!
