Leen Taleb’s Uncle Detained For Her Alleged Rape Following DNA Test

After forensic doctors revealed that 6-year-old Leen Taleb was raped prior to succumbing to her injuries, an investigation was been launched in order to apprehend the person responsible for the child’s rape and death. The news caused an uproar on social media platforms.

Leen Taleb was staying at her maternal grandparents’ home before her mother picked her up and found her in a distressed state. Multiple accusations circulated regarding the grandfather’s involvement in the crime, but sources from Al Jadeed revealed that a recent DNA test implicated the child’s uncle Nader Abu Khalil as well.

The uncle has since been detained alongside the grandfather under the same pretenses, in addition to the child’s mother and grandmother for attempting to cover up the heinous crime.
