From July 20 to 23, the new Jnaynet Ahl el Dar at Dar Onboz will be open to all for a series of knowledge circles and a fun day for all. A truly one of a kind space in the city, these events provide a glimpse into how a city full of public and green spaces would look.
The organizers intend to open this space for healing, for contemplation, for meaningful exchanges and gatherings around knowledge, nature, culture and love. During these 4 days, visitors will be welcome to go pick the vegetables in Jnaynet Ahl El Dar and to learn more about baking traditional tabouneh bread, seeds, soil, food sovereignty, paper making, fiber weaving, drawing, spoon carving, earthen pots and more.
Whether you’re interested in learning more about spoon carving, earthen pottery, crocheting, raising bees, healing plants, Arabic letters, kishek making, the art of trees, ancestral salt production or agro ecology, they have it all. With activities and events for kids and adults, this is one of the most unique experiences you can have in the country.
This weekend promises to be full of knowledge and a true space for people to reconnect with nature and their history in a beautiful garden in Furn el Chebek. Reservations and fees may apply for some of the events, so make sure to check their Instagram to learn more about each.
