Music Festival “Oakenfest” Is Back After 5-Year Hiatus!

Oakenfest 2023 is happening this weekend! A camping music festival taking place in Lehfed, the highly anticipated event might just be the highlight of your summer, so you wouldn’t want to miss it!

Brought to life back in 2013, this annual event was created to provide an escape for those desperately seeking it. After their last edition in 2018, Oakenfest decided to end their 5-year hiatus this weekend.

The purpose of this event is to bring people together to celebrate music and culture in a large outdoor space. The space was chosen by the festival’s founder to accommodate large numbers of festival goers, a community kitchen, stage, bar, local product store, pop-up booths, food court, and restrooms with showers. And camping spots for those planning to attend the entire festival!

Attendees will get the chance to meet the region’s most talented musical artists. Here’s a glimpse at some of the artists taking over this year’s lineup:

And that’s not all! Apart from interactive poetry sessions and open-circle yoga, you can also stop by for a flash tattoo by the talented Clara Chidiac!
