Star Academy 12 Will Be Shot In Saudi Arabia, Not Lebanon
Haven’t you heard? The popular LBC show Star Academy is returning for season 12, and we’re sharing some more details about this much anticipated comeback.
For the first time since it aired in 2003, Star Academy will not be shot in Lebanon. Btrending’s Elie Merheb revealed that the upcoming season will be shot in Saudi Arabia instead, and the casting is set to take place in February of 2023.
Roula Saad will be taking over production once again alongside LBC, after writer and actress Claudia Marchelian was responsible for the show’s last season before its hiatus.

According to Star Mix TV, the iconic Hilda Khalife will also be joining us in the new season. *cue sigh of relief*
Despite the fact that StarAc fans were happy to hear about the show’s return, some expressed their disappointment over the revelation that the upcoming season will not be shot in Lebanon.
