The 7 Ugliest Buildings In Lebanon

Some days you wake up and you just want to be a hater. Today is one of those days. One man’s beauty is another man’s ugly in contemporary Lebanon, but today we are eliminating all subjectivity. These are for sure the 8 ugliest buildings in this god forsaken country.

1. Afran al So7a

HQ of the Wheat division of the Illuminati.

2. Snakescraper

Imagine trying to get a salle down hiye w ma2tou3a el kahraba.

4. Stairway to Hell

How did someone plan this, show it to people, and get it built? It’s a few steps away from being a huge toilet seat.

4. I’m a plane, I’m a house, I’m a plane-house

If you asked a four year old to design their own house, they would do better than this.

5. Watermelon

Genuinely need to bleach my eyes after looking at this, even if we disregard the colors, is anyone else seeing this? Is this a fever dream? This can’t be real.

6. Sama Beirut

I don’t think we need to say much about this one.

7. The Issam Fares Institute

Tucked away on AUB’s campus, the infamous IFI building is thankfully hidden from the public. But that doesn’t mean it’ll escape our claws. Just looking at it makes me claustrophobic, it sticks out like a sore thumb, and it looks exactly what you would get if you asked an AI to generate an evil building. Plus, the offices are literally lopsided inside. I think this wins the trophy this round.
