The march coincides with the upcoming parliamentary session that is to determine the new (or maybe not) Speaker of Parliament, a seat that has been occupied by Nabih Berri for six consecutive terms.
It is also worth mentioning that MPs Ali Hassan Khalil and Ghazi Zeaiter have been evading arrest warrants linked to the port blast, and have repeatedly refused to appear for questioning.
