Souk Okaz: Providing Quality Clothing For Marginalized Communities

FabricAID is a social enterprise working to collect, sort, and redistribute second-hand clothing in a bid to reduce fabric waste. Their aim is to provide good quality clothing at affordable prices for marginalized communities in Lebanon.

Their most recent project, Souk Okaz, is a store where you can buy and sell second-hand clothing without harming the environment!

For anyone looking for affordable clothing or if you want to resell a few pieces that are still in good shape, the team over at Souk Okaz will welcome you with open arms (and they’re known for their kindness and good service!).

Considering these troubling times, this project has been able to provide for many families struggling amid the economic crisis in Lebanon. With a sharp increase in retail prices, Souk Okaz is ensuring that everyone has access to good quality clothing.

Their stores are located in Hamra, Furn El Chebbek, and Jounieh, and they’re open from 10 am to 8 pm every Monday through Sunday!
