In Memory Of Isaac: Sursock Museum Installs Swing For Youngest Blast Victim
Sarah Copland, mother of August 4’s youngest blast victim Isaac, shared to Twitter the recent addition to the Sursock Museum. Thanks to the efforts of Australian Ambassador Rebekah Grindlay, a swing was installed in loving memory of Isaac in Susrock Museum’s courtyard, where he spent most of his time.
Isaac’s family is one among many who lost their loved ones due to a negligent and corrupt government. It has been over a year since the devastating August 4 blast, and the government only continues to prove its incompetency as it pushes back investigations and gives little to no attention to aiding the crisis-ridden nation.
It looks like Lebanon’s freefall will see no end, as the country drowns further in worsening living conditions and little to no access to basic necessities, such as fuel, medication, and other services.
