Lebanon’s First Public Skatepark Is Now Open

Skaters of Beirut, unite!

The Snoubar Skatepark project is reclaiming public spaces and is now open as the first public skatepark in Lebanon!


Located in Horsh Beirut, their main goal is set on increasing the social well-being of the youth through skateboarding. After the devastating August 4 explosion, the skating community found itself in limbo, as several of their impromptu skate parks were severely damaged.


The project aims to also offer free skating classes and skateboard programs, as well as skating equipment for those in need. It has been in the works for quite a while and is now finally open to the public.
