Lebanon has been suffering from a waste management crisis since 2015, and once again, Lebanese citizens joined forces to fill the gaps left by our dysfunctional government.
Live Love Recycle took it upon themselves to help the Lebanese people indulge in some eco-friendly habits by creating an efficient, easy, and free recycling system.
You can download their mobile application Live Love Recycle, fill out your personal information, choose a pick-up location that suits you, and they will meet you to pick up your waste!
They are constantly branching out. Their newest pick-up locations cover Jounieh, Monteverde, and Tripoli!
The application will also feature an Eco Scanner that helps you understand what is recyclable and what isn’t! And to make the whole thing more fun, they will launch an Eco Rewards system: the more you recycle, the more the points you collect for gifts! Great way to motivate your kids to incorporate recycling in their weekly tasks.
You can meet them this Sunday on June 6th for an open doors event at their recycling warehouse in Mansourieh. The team will walk you through the recycling process so you get a better grasp of how its done and how important it is to take action.
