After sustaining severe structural damage during the August 4th port explosion, the
Four Seasons Hotel in Beirut boarded up its doors temporarily.
A couple of days ago, the luxury hotel chain announced that they would not be opening before Spring of 2022. In an Instagram post published on their official account, the Four Seasons Beirut optimistically said that they will bloom again. The hotel employs hundreds of people, and our hearts are with them during this upsetting time.
This comes as local businesses and homes are desperately repairing themselves with little to no help from the failing state, and with a worsening financial and economic situation looming.
Other hotels that sustained severe damage in the area include the Hilton Downtown and Le Gray.
