Beloved Italian Spot Tavolina Has Reopened!
Some good news at last! Beloved Mar Mikhael restaurant Tavolina has rebuilt and is now open once again following the horrifying August 4 explosion.
One of many restaurants affected in the area, the Italian spot was severely damaged by the bomb and had to rebuild its entire facade, interior, and kitchen. They sustained horrific damage much like many in the area.
But 4 months later, they are open again and ready to serve all the dishes we know and love with a smile!
If you’re a fan of pasta, we cannot recommend their spaghetti with seafood enough!
And pizza lovers, the mushroom pizza will have you constantly coming back for more. But quite possibly the best thing on the menu? Their freshly baked bread dipped in the sea urchin mushroom sauce – it is a must-try.
