Man Reportedly Blows Himself Up During Security Raid In Ftouh, Akkar

According to the National News Agency, a man reportedly detonated an explosive device and blew himself up during a security raid in the Al Ftouh area of Akkar this morning.

The raid was linked to the Kaftoun killings that happened last week which had resulted in the murder of three men, with the perpetrators remaining at large.

As security forces entered the small room occupied by the man, there was an exchange of fire then the sound of a bomb.
