Russell Crowe Donates To Rebuilding Le Chef Restaurant In Gemmayze
The gladiator has arrived!
International movie star Russell Crowe has made a generous donation to a GoFundMe campaign that was set up to rebuild Gemmayze’s iconic Le Chef restaurant after it was mostly destroyed by the Beirut Port explosion.
The Gladiator himself stepped up and said it was indeed him, donating in memory of his pal Anthony Bourdain who had visited Le Chef on both of his visits to Beirut, describing it as “a legendary spot, famed for its simple, straightforward, home-style classics.”
