Our New Favorite Creation: Knefeh 3al Saj

They say love comes in all shapes and sizes, and we can’t help but agree, especially when we think of all the different ways we love to eat our beloved knefeh.

Whether it’s stuffed into a kaake, sandwiched in franje, enveloped by a croissant, or swimming in a bed of syrup, we never had any favorites… until we came across knefeh 3al saj.


This new creation is a specialty at Chocuit, a unique bakery in the heart of Jounieh that serves buttery croissants, delicious manakish, mouthwatering eclairs, and more.

And while all their items are a must-try, their knefeh 3al saj is the fusion that will have you hooked on first bite.


Rather than the classic closed knefeh, Chocuit places their cheesy knefeh on an open-faced dough. It’s almost like a man’ouchet knefeh, grilled on the saj until cheesy and perfect. Oh, and Chocuit is not one to skimp on decadence, so they top it off with your favorite treats.
