Happening Now: Roads Close On Ring, Sports City, and in Akkar

For the first time in over a month, protestors have hit the streets and blocked roads once again.

The roads closed thus far are Saifi towards Beirut, the Ring bridge, the Sports City highway towards Beirut, and Akkar’s mouhamara highway.

This comes as today’s exchange rate of USD to LBP hit a staggering 2,650 LL on the dollar, the highest since the crisis began.
