1. Furn Francois Libnan

Open since 1962, this incredible bakery has withstood the test of time for good reason. Lahme b3ajeen is a must-try!

2. Furn Emm Salim

Overlooking the sea, this traditional bakery makes the unique korban bread and the to-die-for omelette in a manouche!

3. Furn Krikor

An icon in Baskita, this spot has been open for over 55 years! They open at 4 AM and roll out their own dough. It’s hands down the most delicious manouche you’ll get to try.

4. Ghattas, Achrafieh

Open since 1958, here you’ll find hands down the most scrumptious pastries. We’re talking flaky fatayer, delicious kebbe, and of course delicious mini manouches!

5. Furn Abou Elia

Traditional kaak, kerbeneh, and the best meshta7 you’ll ever try! La7me b3ajin is also a must-try.

Known for their mwar2a, a mixture of crushed almonds, walnuts, sugar, orange blossom water, and rose water layered onto thin pastry that is then rolled into a spiral, this place is a must-try! For savory food lovers, the eggs and awarma manouche is heavenly.

8. Zahka Bakery, Jezzine

A sight that makes it seem like time froze, this amazing authentic bakery operates on a completely wood-fire oven pit, using only unbleached locally sourced wheat. Suffice to say whatever you try will be incredible!

9. Speciale

Though this spot is not super old, it is one of those furns that does things right! With different kinds of dough and only the most premium ingredients, you’ll love the crispness of the manouche and the generous portions of cheese.
