4 Lebanese Universities In The Top 25 Of The Region

This university rankings released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for the year 2020 included four Lebanese universities in the top 25 universities in the Arab region.

The American University of Beirut (AUB) was ranked 2nd, Lebanese American University (LAU) – 15th place, Saint Joseph University (USJ) – 18th, and the Lebanese University – 25th.

Saudi’s KAU (King Abdulaziz University) earned the position of top university in the region, improving from its previous ranking of #3 in 2019. Meanwhile, last year’s #1 King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals stood at #3 on 2020s list.

The ranking indicators include the number of Phd holders in a faculty, number of international students, academic reputations, web impact, and others.
