Many of us are bound to spend a few hours on the road each day, time that we sometimes use listening to the radio. And with that comes the countless, cringe-worthy radio ads on every station.
Here are a few annoying aspects of ads you’ll always come across on Lebanese radio channels, guaranteed to fuel your road rage.
1. The constant ads talking about how the radio channel is ad-free and number one
Yes, please interrupt my “non-stop music” to tell me that I get to enjoy “nonstop music”.
2. Rodge, Rodge, Rodge, and, oh, what was it? RODGE.
Me:
Mix FM: RODGE IN THE MIX.
*plugs in AUX*
3. The niche EXTRA ads everyone hates
“Every Saturday, the IT crowd go up to Faraya for a crazy night of epic proportions! Get ready to find your hips shaking and lips moving to the phenomenal beats and exceptional vibes.”
Okay… first of all, who the fuck is “the IT crowd”? Second of all, chill.
4. The *forced* accents.
Stop faking your accents y’all in ads, talk shows, and in daily life because it is cringe-worthy to say the least. An American accent is not the determining factor of whether or not I’ll go to Black Friday.
5. The overly dramatic mousalsalet trailers
Except it’s just the soundtrack of the trailer so we only hear noises and random comments, basically having no idea what’s going on.
