We’ve previously talked about restaurants by the sea, and now we’re going above sea level and have chosen the ones with spectacular views, most comprehensive menus, and a charming ambiance.
You’ll be having dinner in the sky at this Harissa restaurant which truly, no joke, boasts of one of the most breathtaking views in Lebanon. You’ll be able to see the whole coastline from your table, and the weather is breezy yet sunny – a perfect combination. The menu offers authentic Lebanese cuisine with a wide variety of cold and hot mezza. No need to say how a sunset from up there will look like, we’ll leave that to you to find out.
The Terrace, Bay Lodge Hotel
Hidden in a hotel, this place oozes of a chill vibe, but don’t worry the superb view is still intact. It’s a restaurant and bar, with a happy hour from 5 PM – 8 PM on weekdays. Their wooden parquet floor compliments the blue sky perfectly, and gives it way into the rooftop lounge category. The cuisine resembles lounge food, since the portions are small, but with a large group we recommend for you to order different types of appetizers, and of course a refreshing cocktail to down those spicy shrimps.
Divine décor, welcoming staff, and an outdoor space like no other. The food is tantalizing, and you’ll find out that the chef truly takes care of every single detail in the meal. Jounieh’s Bay will be smiling at you as the scattered buildings and houses accentuate the view.
