One room is for departing passengers, while the other one is for arriving ones. They are mostly blue with lots of calming colors, and are available for kids to play and enjoy some relaxing time while they listen to calming music.
With this inauguration by the Minister Youssef Fenianos and head of North Autism Center Rima Frangieh, the Rafic Hariri International Airport became one of the first in the Middle East to have these sensory rooms for children with Autism. In addition, the airport was lit in blue as part of the campaign to raise awareness on this occasion.
