Lebanon Impresses With Historic Rugby Win Over France
As part of the Rugby League World Cup 2017 taking place in Australia, the Lebanese team “The Cedars” managed to gain a momentous win over the French team with an impressive 29 -18.
This marks the first ever win for any Lebanese team in a World Cup fixture, and is particularly impressive considering the fact that rugby is relatively new on the Lebanese sports scene.
This win also came after a huge setback when one of their most prized players, Chris Saab, suffered a concussion and had to sit the game out.
The Lebanese team will take on England next Saturday, so stay tuned and cheer them on!
