6 Lebanese Bands & Musicians You Should Be Listening To

1. Amy Smack Daddy
Amy Smack Daddy have been rocking the stages in Lebanon since 2009, their songs vary from alternative, rock to funk. They play cover songs but add a little touch of eccentricity which makes their performances even more creative and exciting. Our personal favorite, you’d never find a seated still room when Amy Smack Daddy is performing.

2. Loopstache
Loopstache’s music is mainly built on electronic beats, synth, piano and guitar. They started out in 2013, released their first 7-track record in 2014, and have been playing around Lebanon ever since. Their innovative style adds all the more color and vibe to their compelling music.

Loopstache have performed in places like Radio Beirut, Garden State, and Station Beirut.
3. Happy Faces
Happy Faces started in 2013 when Alain Chidiac and Fadi Jurdi split from their 80’s rock band and started playing gigs using two instruments and lead vocals. They’re are guaranteed to get the atmosphere going with their acoustic style mixed with rock and funk songs of the 80’s and 90’s.

4. Ingrid Naccour
Ingrid Naccour studied at the Berklee College of Music and Opera of the Lebanese Conservatory. She has participated in many operas and events, and won the “Hard Rock Café Ambassador” award. Her soulful covers will make you sing along at the top of your lungs.
Ingrid has performed in placed like Le Gray, Lockstock, and The Next Whiskey Bar.
5. The Harmless Claw
Their chill vibes paired with their incredible talent, no one quite does reggae and blues tunes like The Harmless Claw. Their music will get you standing up and moving in no time.

The Harmless Claw have performed in places like June Beach Resort, Beirut City Picnic, Tiki Bar, Mezyan, Colonel Brewery, Marley’s Bar & Eatery, La Comida Jounieh, and Ô-Glacée.
6. Nour Nimri
Although not Lebanese, Nimri mostly performs and lives in Lebanon – although we’d give him the passport any day. Self-taught musician, performer, and composer, Nour Nimri started his career by playing the drums with multiple bands. After acquiring enough knowledge in the music field and a name to himself, he ventured off into various type of music until he found himself in pop/rock, acoustic, and alternative genres.
In addition to singing, Nimri plays the drums, guitar, and piano, and safe to say is quite the looker.
Nimri has performed in places like Hole in The Wall Beirut, Locktsock, Bistro Bar, Stereo Kitchen, Seven Sisters, The Next Whiskey Bar, and Demo.
