Anfeh: Lebanon’s Uninterrupted Piece Of Paradise

Situated in the Koura district of Northern Lebanon, Anfeh has been a center for social and economic activity for over 3,000 years. This picturesque seaside fishing town is renowned for its ancient churches and natural caves, and today it is known as a center for salt production in Lebanon. Here are a few pictures that prove that Anfeh is our own little piece of paradise.

There are still remains from when the Crusades occupied Anfeh in the 12th Century

Its waters are pristine

And its wildlife, too

To this day, archaeological excavations continue in Anfeh – where there are said to be Phoenician and Roman ruins, wine presses, mosaic floors, and castle remains still nestled below the surface

It’s the perfect place to unwind

Anfeh truly is paradise.
