Nestled on a street almost parallel to Verdun’s main road is Crumbleberrys, one of the most adorable dessert parlors we’ve seen in Beirut that invites you to enjoy “a moment to yourself.”

You seriously haven’t tried a soft cookie until you’ve tried the fresh ones at Crumbleberrys. These delicious babies come in several different flavors, including Kinder, Nutella, and Lotus, to name only a few.

Celebrating a birthday or just in the mood for a single slice of cake? They’ve got you covered thanks to their Ferrero Rocher Lazy Cake, superb Oreo cake, and of course their well-known specialty, the Lotus Cheesecake.

The Lotus biscuits perfectly balance out the soft creamy texture of the cheesecake. Two bites and you’ll be drooling for more.

If those aren’t enough to get you running over to Verdun, you might be pleased to hear they also have Oreo cookies, S’Mores cookies, Death by Oreo Cheesecake, peanut butter and Oreo brownie cupcakes, and of course the inspiration for the shop’s name, The Crumbleberry, which brilliantly blends various berries in a light tart topped with crumbles and sugar.

Still not convinced? Try not to drool over these pictures!

The interior boasts gorgeous pink accessories that match the theme. Upon walking in, you’re greeted by Reem, one of the sisters and partners that opened shop after successfully delivering cakes and cookies through orders made on Instagram. Crumbleberrys was a startup home-based family bakery that launched in 2013 as an online social media run business by Faten Abboud and her daughter Reem Batrawi.

What started out as a hobby quickly flourished into one of the city’s most adorable dessert parlors.
